FLIR’s Patrol-IR series thermal imagers engineered for critical law enforcement surveillance applications. Using state of the art, US Military thermal imaging technology, Patrol-IR thermal surveillance imagers provide your teams with the ability to see and track suspects in total darkness.

And because thermal imaging is a passive technology that requires no illumination, suspects oblivious to the fact that they're being monitored. Your advantage comes from the fact that suspects can’t hide their heat from the Patrol-IR's high sensitivity thermal detector.

With four times the resolution of most competing systems, Patrol-IR imagers deliver superior range performance and image quality. Operator ease of use is ensured thanks to fully automated image optimization; no manipulation or adjustment is required to obtain optimal high contrast imagery.

Three versions of the Patrol-IR series are available, including a fixed version designed for integration onto existing pan and tilt devices, a pan and tilt version that accommodates 360° surveillance, and the PRO version which includes a powerful low light camera for long range, 24/7 surveillance.

1. Patrol-IR "Static"
FLIR's Patrol-IR "Static" is your lowest cost entry into the realm of thermal surveillance imaging. Ideal for mobile, fixed mount applications and users that wish to mount their thermal camera on an existing pan-and-tilt mount

The compact Patrol-IR "Static" is a perfect compliment to mobile search, security and patrol missions.

2. Patrol-IR "Pan-and-Tilt"
With full pan-and-tilt functionality this upgraded Patrol-IR version provides officers with the greatest degree of safety and operational flexibility.

Following a quick setup thermal scans can be conducted over a 360-degree area from the safety of a command vehicle. Fully automatic image optimization ensures that offivers remain covert over the duration of their surveillance assignments.

Built for hard use, Patrol-IR's pan-and-tilt mechanism is impervious to heavy rain and dust, remaining on the job at temperatures from -20 to 55+ degrees C.

3. Patrol-IR PRO
For surveillance operations that demand 24-hour a day monitoring, FLIR's top-of-the-line Patrol-IR Pro imager is the benchmark by which all others are judged.

The system's visible daylight TV camera delivers true color imagery during the day while long wave FLIR thermal detectors and image processing technology allow operators to detect and monitor events from long distances. Smoke, fog, rain, or total darkness, nothing escapes the eyes of a Patrol-IR PRO.

Operators can switch quickly between sensors to deliver everything from crisp thermal imagery to long range daylight/ low light imagery, all in a compact package. Indeed, compared to competitive products, at about 10 inches long the Patrol-IR PRO is less than half the size of other dual imagers.

The multi-sensor Patrol-IR PRO includes an integrated pan/tilt mechanism and plug-and-play compatibility. The unit's high performance daylight TV camera is equipped with a 25-power optical and 12-power digital zoom. Electronic image stabilization delivers clear images even at full zoom.

4. Patrol-IR PRO Nexus
FLIR's newest multi-sensor imaging system, the Patrol-IR PRO Nexus, redefines the term "High Value Site Protection".

Designed for integration into existing security networks or as a “stand alone” surveillance package, Nexus software allows the system to be networked via IP connectivity. Operators can monitor and control the Patrol-IR's sensor array remotely back at headquarters, or anywhere else in the world for that matter. Nexus also boasts a video motion detector and a host of other features.
