For everyday commercial applications the 28 lp/mm resolution D-221 ST provides the best value of any Gen2+ binocular system on the market. This will be the choice for casual night vision users that are looking for a night binocular system with true stereoscopic viewing.
If you plan to use your binoculars under more demanding conditions, the more durable D-221 MS provides better night vision brightness, typical resolution performance of 32 LP/mm and a certified image tube data sheet.

Both illuminators produce invisible spotlight beams that will more than double the viewing range of your goggle system, no matter what resolution you choose.
