Existing Gen 1, 2 and 3 night vision products are based on forty-year-old vacuum tube technology. By contrast, the NiteMax is based on today's digital technology.
Digitally perfect, NiteMax suffers none of the problems of the old vacuum tube technology - no black spots, no bright light burns, and no resolution loss at the edges.
Incredible 0-Lux performance
In the complete absence of light (such as a windowless warehouse) NiteMax delivers a digital image that rivals Gen3 scopes at up to 45 yards.
A computer designed array of fifteen variable-power infrared diodes provides even illumination across the entire field of view. Consider this - positive recognition of a 6-foot man is possible in zero light conditions at up to 200 feet. Pressing the digital zoom button doubles the magnification of the current image making it possible to discern fine details at great distance.
Incredible Bright Light performance
Unlike the old tube technology, NiteMax's digital sensor is unaffected - and undamaged - by bright light.
Regardless of the prevailing light conditions, NiteMax delivers a high definition video image to its onboard 2½" flat screen monitor. Sophisticated image management circuitry constantly adjusts to optimize the video output.
Digital Controls and Real-Time Video Output
The NiteMax is ideal for any application requiring a video recording of your surveillance operation. By simply connecting your NiteMax's RCA video output jack to any camcorder you can easily produce real-time, high-resolution recordings.
Increase your viewing range
In addition to NiteMax's standard 1.5-power lens, three optional high power lenses are available to provide extra magnification for long-range surveillance applications. Available with 3, 6 or 9-power magnification each of our high transmission f1.2 lenses includes an adjustable iris.

In addition to a 2-hour spare battery several accessories are offered to provide continuous power, either from your car's 12V DC accessory jack or directly from a standard 120V AC plug.
And for applications outside of North America a 240-120V AC 85-Watt Step Down converter is a available.
Active infrared illumination
As with all active illumination digital infrared devices one highly recommended option would be to add either a 1-Million or 2-Million Candlepower Infrared Spotlight to your order. Both produce invisible spotlight beams that will extend the high resolution viewing range of the NiteMax to well over 200 yards.
