NightVisionExperts’ new NVE-7 Goggle system provides single tube, dual eye technology similar to the US-made PVS-7.
Containing DEP-Photonis image intensifier tubes export of our NVE-7 goggles can be readily facilitated in most instances.The NVE-7 has been developed to match the best features of the PVS-7 system, from similar body style to the same dual-eye comfort and range of fit. Technically however the NVE-7 series provides superior performance, particularly with respect to halo-size and tube life.
Superior Halo
When you view normal urban light sources such as street lights or car headlights with night vision devices, annoying halos are produced around each light. This is a problem as halos tend to obliterate your view.
While goggles containing Gen3 tubes do a good job to limit halos to 2 mm, our NVE-7 systems perform significantly better, reducing halo size by 60% to a minuscule 0.8 mm.
The result? NVE-7 goggles deal with real-life, urban lighting conditions better than any Gen3 on the market.
Period.
Superior Tube Life
Image tube life is defined as the time after 50 % of the original sensitivity is still left. While Gen3 units perform well based on an average 10,000-hour life, our NVE-7 series provides superior performance of up to 15,000-hours.
Three levels of superiority
No matter which image tube you choose, every NVE-7 goggle system shares the same impressive base features.
The design of the entire series is based on a dual-eye system that's equipped with comfortable latex eyecups and adjustable interpupilary distance (the distance between the oculars) and eye relief (the distance from ocular to eye). Also shared by all NVE-7's is a variable power, focussing infrared illuminator and onscreen infrared and low-battery indicators.

The NVE-7 SuperGen provides best-of-class resolution, signal-to-noise ratio and tube life. As with the entire NVE-7 series the SuperGen model reduces halo size to only 0.8 mm, just one of the features that extends tube life by reducing vulnerability to burn-in caused by higher light levels.

The NVE-7 XR5ag features an autogated power supply that permits true 24-hour a day operation. By monitoring prevailing light conditions the autogated power supply adjusts continuously to enable operation under every condition - from black of night to blinding sunshine. The NVE-7 XR5ag sets a new standard of night vision performance for any urban application that demands flawless operation under all conditions.

NVE-7 Accessories
Available optical options include a selection of 4-Power, 7-Power and 10-Power military lens sets. Each feature multi-coated optics, quick-connect adapters and in the case of the 10-Power lens, a tripod support. Another accessory is the Kevlar helmet mount that features a quick connect and flip-flop mechanism.
And of course another option worth consideration would either of our 1-Million or 2-Million Candlepower Infrared Spotlights. Both illuminators produce invisible spotlight beams that will significantly increase the the viewing range of your NVE-7 system, no matter what resolution you choose.

Export Sales
Shipments of our NVE-7 SuperGen, XD4 and XR5ag Night Vision Goggle Systems within the USA and Canada are not restricted.
Shipments of our NVE-7 SuperGen and XD4 systems to countries other than the USA and Canada require submission of an Export Permit Application and End-Use Certificate. Night Vision Experts will provide you with the required application forms and apply for the required export approval on your behalf.
Export approvals are generally received within 4 weeks of submission. On receipt of approval your NVE-7 will be delivered by FedEx, usually within 3 business days of shipment. Some exceptions apply. If you are located in a country other than the USA or Canada and wish to purchase an NVE-7, please contact us by e-mail or phone to receive the required export application forms.
