Our new line of Ultra-Covert Infrared lighting provides a broad pallet of options to meet the unique needs of your night vision illumination application.

Choose from three series of illuminators to develop an infrared lighting plan that best fits the layout of your surveillance area. Each generates a 940nm infrared beam that is undetectable to the human eye.

Combinations of the three illuminators can be assembled to "paint" surveillance areas with undetectable IR light.

This procedure significantly improves the detection and recognition capabilities of all night vision technologies, including all generations of night vision and infrared-sensitive CCTV cameras and digital night vision, including the full line of Sony NIGHTSHOT™ digital cameras.

Choosing your Ultra-Covert Illumination package
Each ultra-covert application will be unique, defined by the range required, the total area to be "painted" and special challenges related to power supply and physical layout of the surveillance zone.

IR-ROOM
Generally used for short range illumination of interior rooms, hallways, and entrance/exit access points. IR-ROOMs are particularly useful for "spot-painting" difficult to light outdoor areas that cannot be readily lit by distant sources of infrared light.

IR-FLOOD
IR-FLOODs are well suited to all applications that require even  illumination of large areas at far range. This would include most ultra-covert lighting of parking lots, home yard surveillance and perimeter security applications. IR-FLOODs are also commonly used for remote deployment using the available 12V DC Power Pack and also provide exceptional ultra-covert lighting for night vision equipped vehicles.

IR-SPOT
Long-range is the defining feature of the IR-SPOT series of ultra-covert illuminators. With a range of 400 feet and an exceedingly small power demand IR-SPOTs will be your choice for "seek and define" applications that require extended, ultra-covert illumination. The unit's light weight and robust design also make it ideal for many mobile surveillance assignments using the available 12V DC Power Pack.

Installation and Accessories
The low amperage power draw specifications of the entire line of ultra-covert illuminators is of great benefit to their installation.

Applications that require deployment of ultra-covert lighting from a surveillance vehicle are easily achieved by simply plugging the units directly into your vehicle's 12V DC accessory outlet. Battery draw is minimal, ranging from 0.3 Amps for the IR-ROOM to only 3 Amps for the ultra-covert IR-FLOOD illuminator.

This low amperage draw is particularly beneficial for mobile, battery-powered operation using our available 12VDC 7.5Ah Portable Power Station. Use of portable Power Stations makes it possible to "paint" surveillance areas with ultra-covert infrared light no matter how remote the location. The high capacity Portable Power Station provides excellent sustained power to our line of ultra-covert illuminators in remote installations; IR-ROOM... 37.5-hours; IR-FLOOD... 2.5-hours; IR-SPOT... 25-hours.

Adding to their application flexibility, our full line of ultra-covert illuminators can be powered directly from North American house current using the available 120V AC to 12V DC power converter. For use in other parts of the world an available 240V AC 85-Watt Step-Down Converter can be obtained.

Direct mounting of the full line of ultra-covert illuminators is easy using the 1/4-inch mounting points presented on the back of both the IR-ROOM and the IR-FLOOD, or with the U-mount that is supplied with the IR-SPOT.

For remote mobile illumination applications our full line of illuminators can be easily tripod mounted using the available cast aluminum and brass Tripod Adapter. For permanent installation, both the IR-FLOOD and IR-SPOT include rugged wall mounts, with an available Articulated Wall Mount can be ordered for the IR-ROOM.
